• I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the excellent care and treatment I received. After consulting with other specialists who told me that some of my teeth would need to be extracted, I found an alternative here that truly changed my situation. From the initial evaluation, the doctor was extremely careful, thorough, and professional. He examined and diagnosed each tooth individually, clearly explaining the condition of each one, the available treatment options, and what I could expect throughout the entire process. His dedication and clear explanations gave me a great deal of confidence. He ultimately performed the LANAP laser treatment, and the results have been incredible. Thanks to his experience, expertise, and dedication, he was able to save my teeth when I had previously been told that extraction was practically the only option. Throughout the entire treatment, he was very careful, patient, and committed to achieving the best possible outcome. I am deeply grateful for his work and would definitely recommend him to anyone dealing with periodontal problems, especially before making such an important decision as having teeth extracted. • Dr. David Malakov is an amazing professional. After doing careful research, I learned about LANAP surgery, what it entailed, and that Dr. David Malakov was able to perform it. From the very beginning, he was welcoming, professional, and answered all of my questions without hesitation. Everything was explained to me in detail, including what would happen on the day of the surgery and what I needed to do afterward. I felt confident that I was in good hands. After carefully following the post-surgery instructions, I noticed a significant improvement. My gums shrunk and they no longer bleed. It was truly one of the best decisions I could have made for myself. I would also like to mention that the receptionists at the front desk are incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. • Could not be happier with Dr. Malakov and his team. I had been stressed out for nearly a year with gum issues around my front crowns and during that period I saw two other periodontists who both recommended crown lengthening, but I kept waiting to see if the gum would improve on its own. Crown lengthening surgery is a big deal and I wasn't convinced I truly needed it. Plus my insurance wouldn't cover it. I found Dr. Malakov (who is not in-network for me) through his google reviews and I'm SO glad I did. He recommended LANAP instead of crown lengthening and it was absolutely the right call. The other periodontists and my own dentist never mentioned laser as an option. I didn't even know it existed as an option. Immediately after the surgery my gum already looked better and now, 1.5 month later, it is back to normal. Can't thank Dr. Malakov enough. His rates are very reasonable. I felt I was looked after by someone observant, intelligent, capable, thorough and caring. Also shoutout to his amazing receptionist who is the most friendly and professional medical receptionist I've ever come across. The office is organized, efficient and transparent. I am writing this review on my own, no incentives were offered. Highly recommend Dr. Malakov's office!

• I have struggled with periodontal disease since my 20th, I’m 45 now. After losing 4 teeth, paying a lot of money for antibiotics to be applied to my gum( which was like using a bandage on a wound that needs stitches) my old dentist didn’t care since he was getting a lot of money from me at every visit. One day I decided to say good bye to my dentist and to my gum problem. That’s when I came across the You tube page for doctor Malakov. From my first visit I felt that I finally found the right person to put an end to my standing gum disease. Yesterday 2/24/26 I had the LANAP gum surgery and I can assure you that it was a painless procedure. All my life I had so much fear of the regular surgery where my gums had to be cut and then stitched back. Today is day two and I am free of pain or discomfort, my mouth is just a bit sore which is normal. Dr Malakov is very skilled and gentle, he is truly concerned about your mouth health and not just the money. He is very transparent and explains everything so clearly. Thank you so much to the doctor and the staff, you are all incredible. I used to be terrified, but you made me feel so comfortable.

I had seen several other dentists and never felt the same level of comfort or empathy. With him, it was about my dental health, not the money, which meant a lot — especially with how expensive healthcare can be today.After my LANAP procedure, I’m about 90% better, with almost no sensitivity and much healthier teeth and gums. • If you are in need of periodontal care, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. David Malakov! He checks all the boxes to allay any fears you may have concerning the LANAP procedure. He's professional, honest, careful and gentle during the entire procedure, and if you need to speak with him anytime after the procedure, his response is timely! I am two weeks post procedure...I only experienced minimal pain later in the day after the procedure, and I have not experienced any pain to date. The out-of-pocket cost is well worth it!Make sure you follow the post procedure instructions, and you will be satisfied with the results! I wanted to also give a huge thanks to his wonderful staff who are the first you see, and their warm presence makes a huge difference!

• In November 2024 I went to Dr. Malakov with severely inflamed gums and deep bone loss next to two lower molars. He performed his surgical laser treatment on the affected areas. Six months after the procedure and with careful maintenance, not only was the inflammation eliminated and the bone loss stopped, but some of the lost bone has actually *regenerated*. Thanks so much to Dr. Malakov for his incredible work!

• Dr. David Malakov is an incredible doctor who is caring for my best friend of 30 years. Although I am not his patient, if I needed a periodontist, Dr. Malakov would be at the TOP of my list. Years ago, I worked in medical education and was a dental residency program administrator. Watching Dr. Malakov, any program director would be proud! It is CLEAR he has had EXCELLENT training. Not only is he knowledgeable and excellent at his job, but he also has the best bedside manners I have ever seen on a doctor. He is invested, attentive, kind, and sincerely cares about his patients. • Dr David is a blessing in disguise. For 5 years I was going to my regular dentist they were charging me additional money for antibiotics for my gums after they do a cleaning. Not addressing the disorder of my gums that needed attention until a new person came aboard and recommended me to Dr David periodontist. My root canal was even worse It never bonded to the bone and it would bleed and move. I finally went to see Dr David he diagnosed the problem, I had to have gum surgery a new procedure laser I can tell you all my teeth are strong. Great work!! To keep my teeth is important to me not root canal, dentures but my own teeth. I would highly recommend this parodontist. I've always looked for an attentive dentist not just money-driven but all the older guys have gone so I'm blessed to find Dr David. My insurance didn't cover everything I paid upfront and he was great enough to refund the difference to me from the insurance. Today I even asked him to do the bottom gum front but he said no, not to waste your money That's what you want to hear from a great upcoming periodontist.

• I had not been to a dentist in over 30 years due to extreme dental phobia and a horrible gag reflex. I went to a local dentist who said I needed to see a periodontist.I was extremely nervous the day of my consultation, but Dr. Malakov immediately put me at ease.I had my lanap procedure 2 weeks ago. • Dr Malakov is honestly the best periodontist, he really cares about his patient and making sure their oral health and teeth improves, if it wasn’t for him my gums wouldn’t stop bleeding. I was very adamant about getting braces and yet there were deeper issues in my teeth such as huge bone loss. I was very nervous of going to dentist and every dentist I went to couldn’t give me any resolution. I honestly regret not going to a periodontist earlier and glad I took the innovative to come here. My molar teeth is experiencing huge bone loss but I am trying my best to also take care of it and hoping there is no further loss. I been going to this office for the past two years and did LANAP surgery which I highly reccomend and now I am getting root canal treatments with Dr. Pinkhasova who is extremely caring too. • I was referred to Dr Malakov by another Doctor, due to acute periodontal disease. It was so severe in fact, that I was in real danger of loosing the two bottom front teeth. Im very lucky that I was referred to Dr Malakov. He looked at my X-rays, checked the other teeth and found two more teeth that were affected by periodontal disease, that the other Doctor didn’t notice. Dr Malakov was very patient and extremely thorough. He explained to me all the steps of the surgery, talked about post surgery recovery, the Do’s and Don’t’s of healthy maintenance of my teeth after the procedure. During the surgery he was careful and professional keeping overall environment relaxed and stress free. Today I’m glad to report that I made a full recovery. Amazingly after the procedure my bone tissue around my teeth grew back. Thanks to the Dr Malakov I didn’t have to go through very upsetting experience of loosing multiple teeth. I highly recommend this Doctor to anyone with any type of periodontal disease.

• Dr Malakov is an amazing periodontology. I had seen two periodontist before I came to see him and they didn’t have the experience and knowledge Dr Malakov has. I had very bad periodontal disease and Dr Malakov explain every treatment he was going to do. He explain about two treatment for periodontist disease one is the traditional gum procedure and the second one the LANAP after explaining bough procedure I choose to do the LANAP on my front teeth and upper tooth. Day off the procedure I was so nervous and his compassion relaxed me and told me that everything was going to be just fine. Two weeks after the procedure my teeth and gum looks and feel better than ever. I had no pain during the procedure or after. If u looking for a PERIODONTOLOGY don't look no more DR David Malakov is the specialist u need to see.

• After years of neglect on my part I finally reached out to find a doctor because my gums were in very bad shape. After looking around my neighborhood and not being able to get in anywhere, I called Dr. Malakov’s office and they set me up with an appointment immediately just two days later. They scheduled me that day for the LANAP procedure and within a day I was feeling outstandingly better. The office is very convenient, steps always from the M/R train and Dr. Malakov’s care and demeanor is exceptional— frankly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a physician. Highly recommended!

They gave me a breakdown of cost up front and when something additional came up during the surgery, Dr. Malakov just did the work at no extra charge to me, very thankful! Highly recommend.

• So my dentist had referred me to a periodontist and after doing my research on Google, this was one of the many places I had stopped by for a consultation - I ended up doing my procedure with Dr. Malakov.Pros:I came in very anxiously because I am so young and do not want to lose my teeth at this age. Dr. Malakov was a great communicator. He speaks to you. He calms you down. In the other offices I went to, I found the doctors to always be rushing and speaking in a different language. But this doctor was very clear and actually took the time to answer my questions.Second, you can tell he actually cares and invests into his profession because he had a laser that no other office had and was able to offer me a decent price for the treatment. I did my research about the LANAP procedure (he even had his own video), and the literature showed it was beneficial, so I came back and did it. Thankfully, it was painless and the post-operative care was not as bad as a full surgery would have been.My only comment is that the procedure did take a while (about 2.5 hours), but good things come to those that are patient, and so far I am very happy with the results. Dr. Malakov has restored my health and bought me some more time with my teeth. Thank you and Gd bless you!

• Could not be happier with Dr. Malakov and his team. I had been stressed out for nearly a year with gum issues around my front crowns and during that period I saw two other periodontists who both recommended crown lengthening, but I kept waiting to see if the gum would improve on its own. Crown lengthening surgery is a big deal and I wasn't convinced I truly needed it. Plus my insurance wouldn't cover it. I found Dr. Malakov (who is not in-network for me) through his google reviews and I'm SO glad I did. He recommended LANAP instead of crown lengthening and it was absolutely the right call. The other periodontists and my own dentist never mentioned laser as an option. I didn't even know it existed as an option. Immediately after the surgery my gum already looked better and now, 1.5 month later, it is back to normal. Can't thank Dr. Malakov enough. His rates are very reasonable. • Dr David is a blessing in disguise. For 5 years I was going to my regular dentist they were charging me additional money for antibiotics for my gums after they do a cleaning. Not addressing the disorder of my gums that needed attention until a new person came aboard and recommended me to Dr David periodontist. My root canal was even worse It never bonded to the bone and it would bleed and move. I finally went to see Dr David he diagnosed the problem, I had to have gum surgery a new procedure laser I can tell you all my teeth are strong. Great work!! To keep my teeth is important to me not root canal, dentures but my own teeth. I would highly recommend this parodontist. I've always looked for an attentive dentist not just money-driven but all the older guys have gone so I'm blessed to find Dr David. My insurance didn't cover everything I paid upfront and he was great enough to refund the difference to me from the insurance. Today I even asked him to do the bottom gum front but he said no, not to waste your money That's what you want to hear from a great upcoming periodontist.

He looked at my X-rays, checked the other teeth and found two more teeth that were affected by periodontal disease, that the other Doctor didn’t notice. Dr Malakov was very patient and extremely thorough. He explained to me all the steps of the surgery, talked about post surgery recovery, the Do’s and Don’t’s of healthy maintenance of my teeth after the procedure. During the surgery he was careful and professional keeping overall environment relaxed and stress free. Today I’m glad to report that I made a full recovery. Amazingly after the procedure my bone tissue around my teeth grew back. Thanks to the Dr Malakov I didn’t have to go through very upsetting experience of loosing multiple teeth. I highly recommend this Doctor to anyone with any type of periodontal disease.

• Dr Malakov is an amazing periodontology. I had seen two periodontist before I came to see him and they didn’t have the experience and knowledge Dr Malakov has. I had very bad periodontal disease and Dr Malakov explain every treatment he was going to do. He explain about two treatment for periodontist disease one is the traditional gum procedure and the second one the LANAP after explaining bough procedure I choose to do the LANAP on my front teeth and upper tooth. Day off the procedure I was so nervous and his compassion relaxed me and told me that everything was going to be just fine. Two weeks after the procedure my teeth and gum looks and feel better than ever. I had no pain during the procedure or after. If u looking for a PERIODONTOLOGY don't look no more DR David Malakov is the specialist u need to see.

• After years of neglect on my part I finally reached out to find a doctor because my gums were in very bad shape. After looking around my neighborhood and not being able to get in anywhere, I called Dr. Malakov’s office and they set me up with an appointment immediately just two days later. They scheduled me that day for the LANAP procedure and within a day I was feeling outstandingly better. The office is very convenient, steps always from the M/R train and Dr. Malakov’s care and demeanor is exceptional— frankly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a physician. Highly recommended!

• I was looking for a periodontist on google and this was the closest office that I found. The office was very clean and the staff was very polite and helpful. They gave me a breakdown of cost up front and when something additional came up during the surgery, Dr. Malakov just did the work at no extra charge to me, very thankful! Highly recommend.

• So my dentist had referred me to a periodontist and after doing my research on Google, this was one of the many places I had stopped by for a consultation - I ended up doing my procedure with Dr. Malakov. Pros: I came in very anxiously because I am so young and do not want to lose my teeth at this age. Dr. Malakov was a great communicator. He speaks to you. He calms you down. In the other offices I went to, I found the doctors to always be rushing and speaking in a different language. But this doctor was very clear and actually took the time to answer my questions. Second, you can tell he actually cares and invests into his profession because he had a laser that no other office had and was able to offer me a decent price for the treatment. I did my research about the LANAP procedure (he even had his own video), and the literature showed it was beneficial, so I came back and did it. Thankfully, it was painless and the post-operative care was not as bad as a full surgery would have been. My only comment is that the procedure did take a while (about 2.5 hours), but good things come to those that are patient, and so far I am very happy with the results.
